A Spider Came ...
... A Knocking -
- Nancy found this spider in the sink. I slide the quarter close hoping the spider would crawl onto it, The spider just froze so I could not see it. My guess is in came through the recessed light fixture above the sink. Maybe we have these all through the attic? Enjoy!

A bug came ...

This little bug ...
... has taken up residency on our sunflower bud -
- The bug has been on the same bud for two days in a row. Enjoy!

Helped Dennis fix a neighborhood issue ...
... and move a 300 lb bush and root ball full of dirt -
- With the right tools I was able to strip out 200 lbs of dirt from the root ball. Along the journey, I found this bug living in the root ball. It was Dennis' pet spider. I took a few pictures and then did the right thing. I squashed it like a bug that it was. I got it down to about a hundred pounds and was able to put it in the truck for hauling to Rick's burn pile.
- Did I mention that Dennis loves spiders. Not really, he does not like bugs. Enjoy and click the picture to enlarge. :)

A sleeping ...
... bee waiting for his picture -
- While I was looking at the roses in our yard, Nancy spotted this bee. The bee needed a nap from all the work he did. I took six pictures of the bee, and this one had the best focus. Why does the wind blow when I am taking closeup pictures? Enjoy!

Busy ...
... little bee, making honey for me (or someone) -
- we have a few Spanish Lavender bushes, and the bees love them. I found one holding still for me while I took its picture. I told him that if he did not sting me, I would not kill him. We both won. :) Enjoy!
